7 oz Single Fill Duck is the most widely used fabric in the lightweight cotton duck category — and for good reason. Single yarns in both the warp and fill keep it light and flexible without sacrificing structure. It drapes, cuts, sews, and finishes cleanly. At 6.5 oz/sq.yd, it’s light enough for apparel and home goods, tough enough for industrial liner and lamination work.
This is an A Grade, dyeable greige fabric. If you need color, we stock it — our Newton dyed line covers this weight. If you need it plain, it ships ready to convert.
It shows up in tote bags, aprons, upholstery, shoes, kitchen textiles, home furnishings, and a dozen other places you’d never expect a duck cloth to go. The only real limit is imagination — which is something our customers keep proving to us, one order at a time.
