We're the fabric nerds who answer the phone.

Prestige Impex started in 2010 with zero customers, a rented warehouse corner, and founders who knew just enough about cotton duck to be dangerous. The plan: stock good fabric, pick up the phone fast, and never pretend to know something we don't.

15 years later, not much has changed. Except now we have two warehouses — that's two rented corners, for those keeping score — more quality test reports than we probably should, and a team that has collectively forgotten more about textiles than most of us will ever learn. Some of us now own ergonomic chairs. So there's that.

We don't know everything. We'll tell you that.

Textiles is too big for anyone to know it all. We still get questions that send us to the reference books. The difference? We say "let me check and call you back" — and then we actually call you back. Usually within the hour. Sometimes before you've hung up.

Where we're rock solid: QA - dyeing, coating, shrinking, stretching, and what happens when you set fabric on fire. That last one happens in a controlled lab, with proper ventilation. We like our eyebrows where they are.

Small runs? We remember.

We built this company on relationships with makers figuring it out as they went — just like we were. We genuinely enjoy working with smaller operations. Today's prototype run is tomorrow's production order.

Where your fabric ends up.

Airplane seat covers. Tool bags on utility trucks. Boat covers fighting saltwater and sun. Tote bags at farmer's markets. Abrasive products doing things we don't fully understand but respect. Send us a photo of your finished product. Someone here will print it out. It'll make their week.

We don't have a marketing department or a mission statement printed on reclaimed wood. We answer the phone, we know our inventory, we don't exaggerate lead times, and we'll tell you if a fabric isn't right for your application — even if it costs us a sale. That's not strategy. It's how we'd want to be treated.
