We've learned a few things over the years. Some of it is useful. Some of it is just interesting. Some of it we learned the hard way. This is where we keep all of it.
We once made 8 oz cotton army duck in bleached white for a printing application. Made to spec. On time. The customer rejected it. Said it clogged his printers. That's not a spec item. That's just how it goes sometimes. Twenty thousand linear yards. We went home feeling a little sick.
We sold a roll here. A roll there. The customers who bought it were happy. Then one day, someone who supplies fabrics to the prison industry called. They needed bleached white. Around 8 oz. They needed it yesterday. Our price was right. The product was right. One man's clog is another man's clearance.
It's funny how things work out. Not funny in the moment. Funny later. This page exists because we've learned things the hard way, the easy way, and the "we should have known better" way. All of it is here.
Weights. Thread counts. Widths. Constructions. A handy reference for when you need numbers, not opinions.
View Spec Chart โCCC. MIL. A-A. The specs that keep procurement officers up at night. We've worked with most of them.
View Specs โHow we inspect fabric. What we look for. What happens when a roll doesn't pass. A simpler explanation of the ASTM D 5430 test method.
View Inspection โThe fine print. Not exciting. But important. No legalese. No surprises. Just the rules of the road.
View Terms โMaterial Safety Data Sheets. For the finishes and treatments we apply. Compliance. Transparency. No surprises.
