Zen is our 10 oz Single Fill Duck, dyed and finished — reactive dyed in 25 colors, with Snow White and Natural offered as our undyed shades. The steady one from the Number Duck lineup — never the drama, always the one that pays the bills. Finished width: 58/59″.
Most of our Zen colors are reactive dyed, not direct dyed — the difference shows up in the wash. Reactive dyeing bonds color at the fiber level instead of sitting on the surface, giving you noticeably better colorfastness to washing over the life of the fabric. (Snow White and Natural are undyed — reactive-dye colorfastness doesn’t apply to them, since there’s no dye to hold.). We also give you flexibility in how it ships: 50-yard and 25-yard put-ups for standard orders, with some colors available in 12-yard D/R (double fold, rolled on cardboard) for smaller runs. Every roll is computer color matched, and only fabric within the allowed deviation is approved for packing — so what you receive matches what you ordered, roll after roll.

For larger volumes, we can work it through Bulk Dyeing. If it’s a pilot project, we can route it through our Small Batch Dyeing program instead.
