Recently, a government agency needed a fabric to extreme precision. We’ll let them be the judge of that. They wanted a sample before ordering. Done. They wanted test results to be submitted with the sample. Done. We did the testing. Tensile. Tear. Weight. Colorfastness – the works. The full report cost us about $500. We submitted everything. Then they postponed the bid. No timeline. No explanation. Just silence. The process – let’s just say that a root canal would have been more enjoyable. At least you know when it’s over.
We keep the test report on file. We look at it sometimes. Not because we’re bitter. Because it’s proof we can meet a spec, even when the buyer isn’t ready to buy.
