We’ve been promoting eco-friendly products since 2013 through our sister site, For Peat’s Sake. Coconut coir. Peat. Natural fiber products that don’t involve synthetic chemistry. So when we started stocking GOTS-certified organic cotton canvas, it wasn’t a pivot. It was a continuation. We just swapped coco peat for cotton.
GOTS means the fabric is certified organic from field to finish. No synthetic pesticides. No harmful chemicals. No shortcuts. Just cotton grown the way cotton used to be grown, inspected by people who take their checklists seriously. We like those people. They’re thorough. We’re a little scared of them.
We stock five organic fabrics. All washed. All preshrunk. All natural — which is a color, not a philosophy. They ship from our South Carolina warehouse. This isn’t our biggest line of work, but it’s one we believe in. If organic cotton is what you need, we have it. If not, take a look around. We’ve got plenty of other fabrics. No hard feelings either way.
